A Message From the President
I purchased my current public accounting firm in 2001 and have since set out to provide that same entrepreneurial experience to my clients that I did to the business owners that I previously worked for. That’s the Mark W Boslett, Inc. difference – I can help owners grow their companies because I truly understand business. My peers often have not worked in business and therefore, simply specialize in telling owners “what happened” as they give them their financial statements or tax returns…but we are all very good at looking backwards – anybody in my profession can do that.
After graduating from college in 1982, I passed the CPA exam and was promoted to Controller of a not-for-profit in 1985. In the time since, I have worked in public accounting, as a Controller for a diverse set of businesses (in the manufacturing and service industries), a Certified Business Valuation Analyst and a Certified Exit Plan Advisor.
I have spent the majority of my career either cleaning up reporting messes in accounting departments – or working to establish the accounting departments of businesses new to having an accountant. I have ample experience preparing numerous financial statements, providing owners with financial information essential to running their businesses and creating “world class” accounting departments.
